The government approved during its weekly sitting the budget revision blueprint for this year, Premier Victor Ponta announced at the Victoria Palace of Government.
The blueprint provides the change of the budget deficit from 1.9 pct to 2,25 pct of GDP, against the increase by 0.62 bln lei of revenues to the consolidated budget and of the supplementation by 3.069 bln lei of expenditures against the initial plan.
The IMF agreed with the budget revision and, according to the Fiscal Council, the new targets comply with the provisions of Law No. 291/2011 approving the ceilings for a set of fiscal and budget strategy indicators.
