Prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) have taken into custody the chief prosecutor of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) Alina Bica on Thursday night.
Bica is a former state secretary of the Ministry of Justice and member of the Central Committee for Damages of the National Agency for the Restitution of Properties (ANRP). She is accused of office abuse resulting in illegal benefits for the culprit or for a third party. DNA has informed AGERPRES in a release that they have taken into custody the head of DIICOT on November 20, for 24 hours.
