Romania's neighbouring countries are confronted with big waves of immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa.
On Wednesday, a record number of refugees managed to set foot on Hungarian territory: no less than 32 hundred of them.
The situation is even more dramatic in Serbia and Macedonia, and a Czech Minister went out of his way to demand that Schengen Area frontiers be shut down.
