Tennis player Simona Halep, 3rd WTA wrote in a message posted on Facebook that the athletes from the Romanian team played some memorable matches in Canada and congratulated them for their qualification in the Fed Cup World Group.
"The Romanian team has played memorable matches in Canada! Congratulations girls they brought Romania into the World Group Fed Cup," Halep wrote on Facebook.
Tennis player Horia Tecău also congratulated the Romanian team in a message on his Facebook account.
