Emilian Eve was sanctioned by the CSM for having promised to a defendant that he would be released if he cooperated to obtain evidence against some judges from CA Iaşi.
SCM members established at the hearing on 29 October 2014 that Eva, now Court prosecutor of Iasi, committed disciplinary offenses provided for by art. 99 lit. a) and lit. t) of Law 303/2004 regarding the status of judges and prosecutors so that they ordered the sanctioning of the prosecutor and decreased his gross monthly salary by 20% over a period of 5 months.
