Antena 3 journalists had an exceptional evening at the APTR awards Gala.
Alessandra Stoicescu, Radu Tudor, Adrian Ursu, Mihai Gâdea and Carmen Avram have been awarded during the jubilee edition of the APTR awards.
The Television Professionals Association of Romania (APTR), the largest organization of its kind in our country, has honored Alessandra Stoicescu for the show "Q & A", aired every Saturday on Antena 3.
"Thank you very much for what you do for the television in Romania. I started working in television 21 years ago and I started both in thought and in soul with my mother's words:" Be smart, do not pretend to be smart. "Reading I set on the road (...). I arrived at the "Q & A" show, where we ask many questions and get the answers, "said the journalist.
Radu Tudor was also awarded for his show "Meeting pointe", aired every Sunday on Antena 3.
"There are frustrating times in being a journalist. I thank the APTR very much for this award," said Radu Tudor.
Adrian Ursu, producer of the show "Sequential ", was awarded by the Association for the story on war veterans.
I am very glad that we can be here today for the television projects. When I was told that APTR was having a jubilee edition I thought I would not be awarded for my life time achievements , because I still want to do some things. I'm glad we're at a time where we can celebrate an organization. I believe the APTR proved that it is more than an organization, an institution that has done for the media and especially for the public in Romania more than journalism schools and all kinds of other attempts of media reform . APTR manages to do what today’s capitalism, life, tastes have spoiled over these years, "said Adrian Ursu.
Mihai Gâdea, Antena 3 CEO and creator of the most watched talk show in Romania, "Daily Summary" was awarded by the Association of Television Professionals in Romania.
"25 years of APTR, 25 years of struggle for freedom, 25 years of learning what television and journalism mean (...). I want to thank all my colleagues who in this 10 years have never disappointed me”, stated Mihai Gâdea.
The Television Professionals Association of Romania (APTR) awarded also Carmen Avram for her show Premiere aired every Sunday on Antena 3.
Carmen Avram argues that Romania has people who can show the world what we can offer.
"It's a good thing to have role models presented, encouraged (...). This association (APTR) shows that we have models including in this field, in journalism (...). We need to show this country that it can become again what it was when the names of role models were more present, "said Carmen Avram.
Antena 3 is the only TV news station in Romania affiliated to CNN International and is part of the INTACT Media Group.
