The 6th of February brings a premiere in the Romanian TV stations, marking the debut of a program filmed entirely in the European Parliament. Sabina Iosub is the host of “Be EU”, getting the Brussels agenda closer to all the Romanian public interested in the European affairs. “be EU” is aired every Saturday at 10 a.m., addressing issues as election campaigns funding, social service system in the EU member states, the access to health care, to name but a few.
“Be EU is a project that brings Europe closer to Romania. What is on debate in Brussels or Strasbourg interests and affects us as well. It is high time we understood that we are European citizens, with equal rights and obligations to other EU citizens. It is a joy for me to share with Antena 3’s viewers the European experience.”, declared Sabina Iosub.
The program is filmed in the Agora studio of the European Parliament. Among the guests of the program, the viewers will see members of the European Parliament, the European Commission, as well as experts in the EU policy fields.
Sabina Iosub, the host of “Be EU”, has a track of 15 years in journalism, anchors the “Previziunile Zilei” daily program on Antena 3 and holds a M.A. in political science.
