You return the house and get the bank off your back! The Judicial Committee of the Lower House of Parliament has endorsed a draft law under which Romanians who can't make the mortgage payments anymore can get rid of the debt just by letting the bank take away their house. If it passes the Chamber of Deputies today, the law will be tabled for promulgation by President Klaus Iohannis.
