Daniel Osmanovic did it ! For 37 hours and 10 minutes he was on air presenting the longest weather report. It was not easy, but our colleague from the Observatory exceeded his limits for Kassandra’s sake, a girl who has been through enough, tormented by her own grandmother. The grandmother is now in jail serving time for her deeds.
The moment was marked Sunday evening during the "Daily Summary", produced by Mihai Gâdea, on Antena 3.
Kassandra has got broken bones and her body is destroyed by beatings, having many prostheses. She has been operated on 36 times and she is getting ready for her 37th surgical intervention. The money donated during the 37 hours of the marathon will be given to her.
Daniel's almost superhuman effort has not gone unnoticed. Hundreds of thousands of Romanians were impressed by the story of Kassandra.
The hours passed one by one. 37 ... one for each operation undergone by Kassandra, plus one that she will soon go through in France. Daniel’s family, colleagues, friends, and public figures came to support him.
In Timisoara, the other end of the country, Kassandra and her family cheered for Daniel.
Daniel Osmanovic exceeded the world record by three hours . For 37 hours he presented weather reports, chatted with guests and answered messages coming from over 300.00 people who followed the marathon online.
