The movie "One floor below" by Radu Muntean, was included in the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival in Un Certain Regard section. Director Corneliu Porumboiu was included in the same section with the feature film "Treasure". Cannes Film Festival 2015 will take place between May 13 and 24, according to the organizers official website.

The Un Certain Regard section is part of the official selection of the Cannes Film Festival, taking place in parallel with the official competition. The section was introduced in 1978, by the former president of the Cannes Film Festival, Gilles Jacob. Every year, Un Certain Regard section presents a series of films with different visions and styles, original and different, seeking international recognition.

The film "Treasure" is an action that focuses on two men who are going through a lot of surprising events in an attempt to discover a treasure. With a script that belongs to Corneliu Porumboiu, professional actors are starring along amateurs. The main roles are played by Toma Cuzin ("Japanese dog", "Miss Christina") and the amateur actors Adrian Purcărescu and Corneliu Cozma, who were selected after an extensive casting process which lasted for three months. The project received a grant of 1.574 million lei from the National Film Centre (CNC) and is supported by HBO Romania and Arte France.

The 68th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 13 to 24. The official competition jury will be chaired by American filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen.
