President Klaus Iohannis announced Tuesday on Facebook that he had given an interview to the daily New York Times, in which he said that we need a stronger government, with a long-term economic vision, with a new approach and who should have the courage to keep a set of rules.
"In an interview with New York Times today, I explained that in the Romanian economy we need fewer and simpler rules. We have countless rules constantly changing and that discourages investors," Iohannis wrote Tuesday evening on Facebook.
The President said: "We need a government strong enough and with a long-term economic vision to change things."
The head of state also mentioned that "we need a government to come up with a new approach and have the courage to keep up a set of economic rules as long as necessary".
