Kelemen Hunor: UDMR decides after the first round whom to support in the second elections round

UDMR President Kelemen Hunor said on the Tuesday edition of the show "Daily summary" that the party he leads would decide after the first round of the presidential elections whom to support in the second round, in the event that he would get the votes required to stay in presidential race.

"We will take a decision after November 3rd. We take this country project into the first round. (...) But we are part of a coalition and this matters ", Kelemen Hunor stated on Antena 3.

Asked about his opinion on his main opponents in the presidential elections Kelemen Hunor replied:

- on Victor Ponta: He is a brave man who has evolved a lot since he is prime minister

  • on Klaus Iohannis: I do not know him enough
     
  • on Călin Popescu Tăriceanu: He is a man who kept his word every time he has the possibility to decide. He is a man of his word.
     
  • on Monica Macovei: I do not know her. I fear people who have a narrow vision of life
     
  • on Elena Udrea: She is a very ambitious lady
     
  • on Gheorghe Funar: It is hard for me to address clinical cases
     
  • on Vadim Tudor: he is Mr. Funar’s colleague
     
  • on William Brinză: I do not know him very well
     
  • on Dan Diaconescu: An interesting man but not for this office
