Martin Schulz to Victor Ponta: We have a common mission at European level

European Parliament President Martin Schulz conveyed Saturday to the Social Democrat leader Victor Ponta, a message of solidarity, reminding him that he is a good friend and collaborator of his and of the Social Democratic Party.

"Dear friends, I’ve known Victor Ponta for a long time. (...) We have a common mission at European level and we are close friends. I wish Victor Ponta all the best for his future," said Schulz, in a video message addressed at Victor Ponta’s candidacy launch for the Romanian Presidency.
