Those who plundered the country during the Basescu Boc regime now want to return to government, Prime Minister Victor Ponta said on Thursday, after Antena 3 presented a document with 450 criminal offenses mentioned in a criminal complaint submitted to the DNA.
"90% of those involved in the robbery of 2009-2012 are today in senior positions in politics, they no longer call themselves the PDL, they go by the name of PNL now and want to be in power," commented the Head of Government on Thursday exclusively on Antena 3.

The control body under the prime minister has made a total of 70 complaints to the DNA about 450 about possible offenses, which is a summary of what happened in the Boc-Basescu government. In response, the National Anticorruption Directorate did not act on it in any way, so that no case file has been sent yet to trial after three years.

This is about the controls conducted by the Prime Minister’s Control body during May 2012- April 2015. The Government’s control body, conducted by a lawyer has submitted 70 notifications to the DNA about criminal offenses.

Among the state companies involved, it was the Romanian Post, CNAS, Hidroelectrica, Conpet.
"People felt that it was a huge system of corruption. We complaints about very serious things, the Microsft investigation started from the Control Body’s notification , the same as the restitution case. In 2015, they finally took action, including those with Transalpina, at our referral, " the Premier said.

Ponta also raise the issue of the robbery committed at Hidroelectrica or the CNAS, led at the time by Lucian Duţă, PDL leader, "but we have not seen anyone indicted so far".

"But we continue to send complaints, we will make the documents available for the judiciary and we will asks about the case files and their status , because we are talking about hundreds of millions ", the head of Government said.
