PSD President Victor Ponta said on the Monday's "Daily Summary" show that the stake in the presidential elections, from Traian Băsescu’s perspective, is that he will personally "be liable before the law " for the damage done, if his system his will be changed.

Ponta said that Basescu recognized him as a political opponent, showing the numerous attempts to discredit and slander him .

"He has tried, as far as I'm concerned, all the methods he used and other political opponents: he dug up things from my past, has tried to put together criminal cases, slandered me, lured me," Victor Ponta said on Antena 3.
