Prime Minister Victor Ponta came Tuesday in the meeting room of the PSD parliamentary group of the Chamber of Deputies, stating that the criminal complaint against President Traian Basescu had been finalized and would be signed by all PSD MPs.

In the PSD meeting room there came also the UDMR president, Kelemen Hunor, as well as Marko Bela, Vereştoy Attila and other MPs belonging to the Hungarian Union.

The PSD group was also joined by PC president Daniel Constantin and party colleagues of his and the UNPR president, Gabriel Oprea.

Besides the PSD MPs, several ministers joined the Social Democrat parliamentary group, including Dan Sova, Titus Corlăţean, Constantin Nita and Rovana Plumb and Justice Minister Robert Cazanciuc.

UDMR president, Kelemen Hunor, specified Tuesday that President Basescu’s statements about Gabriela Firea and her husband are unacceptable and that form that point on " to a criminal complaint is a long way , specifying that his group had not yet made a decision on the matter and that every member was free to sign according to his own will

The MPs sign the criminal complaint filed against president Traian Băsescu.

Victor Ponta said that he would personally sign the criminal complaint against president Basescu.

The PNL have not stated whether they would sign the document, but the PDL do not want the complaint to be filed with the prosecution

Threats made by President Traian Basescu against a Romania's lawmaker will not remain unanswered. The criminal complaint against the head of state will be filed today. The document will be signed by several MPs of the elected government and by other parties.

The President’s "warning" was described by Victor Ponta as a mob attack, designed to halt the investigation in the Nana business. Premier Ponta says he will personally sign the criminal complaint against the President. The PSD chief said that the complaint will be filed against the president for threat and blackmail.

Traian Băsescu initially refused to answer the charges of threat, extortion, money laundering launched by Prime Minister Victor Ponta. "Well, I" Basescu said laughing.

After several hours, the President issued a press release accusing Ponta that he is more concerned about protecting the interests of local barons than about Romanians. Basescu changes the topic and says that the Prime Minister should be interested in creating jobs, giving up the excise duty on fuel and improve the living conditions of the population.

Traian Basescu conveyed PSD senator Gabriela Firea, that she might no longer find her husband at home (Florentin Pandele – editor’s note), if she misbehaved. The President’s warning comes days after Gabriela Firea, member in the Nana investigation comittee said that the transaction by which the president's daughter seized the estate of Calarasi would be void.

Meanwhile, Nana Committee final report will be submitted tomorrow with the permanent bureaus and after Easter it will arrive in the Parliament.

Premier Victor Ponta has moved his office to the Ministry of Defence until November, when Traian Basescu is no longer President of Romania. The ministry has a military unit status, therefore, says Prime Minister, any institution interested will be able to know who and how many times they came into his office.

Gabriela Firea says that this is the means she is being blackmailed for her activity in the nana committee and she will file a criminal complaint against president Traian Băsescu.

On the other hand, her husband, mayor Florentin Pandele, has already announced that he will file a criminal complaint against the head of state .

Moreover PSD senator Gabriela Firea has asked that the judicial inspection be notified, together with the democratic countries embassies, the civil society and the Romanian citizens about the statements made by Traian Băsescu.

Traian Băsescu bought with his daughter, 290 acres of land

Ioana Basescu, daughter of President Traian Basescu took in September 9, 2013, a loan from CEC Bank, worth 4.6 million lei to buy 290 acres of land in the county of Calarasi guaranteed with loan balances present and future, with an account with the CEC and the mortgage on the purchased farmland.
