PSD President Victor Ponta said Tuesday in Craiova, that he launched his candidacy for the presidency “earlier, in Novaci at Bengeşti, together with people who represent the true Romania."
The prime minister arrived at the meeting in Craiova coming from the Gorj county, affected by floods. Victor Ponta inspected Tuesday afternoon, the Bengeşti village of Gorj county and a dam built in the area as well as the town of Novaci, where a flood of more than three meters high hit the town, hundreds of people being evacuated. He then turned towards the town of Polovraci.

We were all ready to launch my candidacy for the highest position in the state. I've already started my candidacy a littke earlier, in Novaci, at Bengeşti, together with people who actually represent the real Romania, not the Romania presented in the books.
