Romanian pianist Alexander Belemuski, aged 28, was awarded the "Contemporary Piano" prize at the annual gala organized by the Foundation Miguel Angel Colmenero to promote young musicians, which took place in Madrid, a press release of Agerpress reports.
The prize was awarded to the Romanian young pianist for the interpretation of the song "Suite for Piano" by Spanish composer Jesus Aranda performed within the composition contest "Carmelo Bernaola".

The event was followed by a concert performed by the winners, in which Alexander Belemuski sang solo and in duet with a Spanish soprano.

After winning the competition, Alexander Belemuski was invited to perform at the prestigious Auditorio Nacional in Madrid.

Alexander Belemuski was born in Romania at Giurgiu in 1988. He has been in Spain since 2000, the country where he graduated the Superior Conservatory of Music from Aragon.
