Journalist Adrian Ursu commented on the 100 Minutes show on Antena 3 the authorities replies after the letter sent to the DNA chief prosecutor Codruţa Laura Kovesi.
"Traian Basescu has got total immunity while in office. None of his deeds can be deleted as criminal guilt, prescription cannot intervene, the release by the High Court of Cassation and Justice reads. This would be the good news that none of the acts committed before being president or during his term as president and which have not been investigated during this period are not deleted by prescription, " Adrian Ursu said.
"That which the release does not explain (...) is what happens to all those cases in which resolutions were passed to drop the prosecution or to remove him from criminal investigation. Wel, if you cannot investigate him at all, then how can you remove him from criminal investigation, as it happened in the Mihăileanu case, as it happened in the money laundering business with Costel Căşuneanu? " the journalist added.
"Therefore, we can draw the conclusion - as positive as the one before – that all the cases that were abusively closed with resolutions passed to drop the criminal investigations, could be reopened " said Adrian Ursu.
