Antenna 3 is again awarded by AIB London . The documentary “Hell's Angels", produced by the “In Premiere” show team got the special prize of the jury in the category Domestic current affairs documentary.
Carmen Avram, the "In Premiere" producer declared that the AIB awards ceremony was a very special one, facing the toughest competition in 20 years.
" Thank you all so much, we could feel you. All your calls and messages have warmed our hearts. (...). Being here for the third time, we could notice that the room is twice as full than the previous years. (...). We were really afraid, but, in the meantime, after finding out that we have won the jury’s award I was extremely happy for us, for those on Antenna 3", Carmen Avram said .
The investigation documentary „Angels of Inferno" displays the situation of drugs addicts in Romania and the activity of the ARAS association, which for the past two decades has tried to keep under control the HIV virus spreading.
But now the future looks gloomy, the funding is over and ARAS cannot operate anymore.
The footage you can watch below has received the special prize of the jury in the category "Domestic current affairs documentary", and it was produced by reporter Yevgeniya Kironaki, image Mihai Buzduga and Lenard Zsolt, set-up .
This is the third consecutive year that Antenna 3 is awarded by AIB, after in 2011 it got the jury’s prize for the footage „Poisoned City”, and in 2012 the jury’s special prize for the ” best live coverage of an event ” and for the video ”At Hells’ Doorsill”.
