President Traian Basescu has said Tuesday at the Cotroceni Palace, that he is drafting a letter that will explain why lawmakers should reject the Government Ordinance to approve the excise duty on fuel, showing that the Government’s fiscal policy is wrong and should be "immediately adjusted ".

‘I believe we have a new opportunity to question the enforcement of the excise duty on fuel, because today the Government Emergency Ordinance has not been approved, but has been referred back to the budget commission’
‘on these grounds I am currently drafting a letter that will be sent to Parliament whereby I am explaining why the emergency ordinance should be rejected in parliament’
