The scandal over the ethnic Hungarians' refusal to fly the Romanian national flag in Sfântu Gheorghe may turn into a criminal investigation. The Covasna County Prefect will file a complaint with the Prosecutor General's Office and the deputy Mayor of Sfântu Gheorghe might become the subject of the afore-mentioned criminal investigation. During a military ceremony celebrating the liberation of that Northern Transylvanian city from Hungary's fascist rule, this country's war veterans were prevented from hoisting on the local City Hall the national flag of Romania.
