Mihai Gâdea continued on the Daily Summary the series of revelations about the communist history of former president Traian Băsescu, bringing forth new revealing documents in that respect.
This document, which bears the heading of the National Defense Ministry, Military Unit no. 01150, certifies that Traian Basescu has been a collaborator of military counterintelligence during the time he was student of the Institute of Marine, having the personal file no. 39990 / 11.09.1973
"He was not given an undercover name", the document sent to the Courthouse of district 2 Bucharest reads.
Mihai Gâdea presented on Antena 3, the briefing on the criminal activity of Traian Băsescu, which makes him " incompatible for the highest office in the Romanian state towards which he aspires", right on the brink of the 2004 elections.
"He was taken over as informer by the Constanţa Harbour Security office, managed by officer Dumitru Nicuşor (connection officer - Mihai Avramides- who obtained from the above mentioned Traian Băsescu several brofs). Subsequently, informant Traian Băsescu was taken over by officers Roşioru Ion and Deacu Constantin. (....) His promotion on the position of ship captain was conducted in 1981 with the Security’s support ", the note reads.
The note reads numerous irregularities committed by Traian Băsescu, in the offices he has held.
"In March of 1989, the informant Traian Basescu was called back in the country being accused of irregularities in the management of NAVROM funds (damages of over 300,000 Belgian francs for repair works on the Zimnicea ship). Only the firm support of the security bodies determined that informer Traian Băsescu be sanctioned only administratively ", the note reads.
