Mihai Gadea presented on the Wednesday edition of the "Daily Summary" show several documents showing how the colossal sum of 700 million euros which was divided among companies close to the PDL party, namely contracts with the National Investments Company and the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism.
One of these companies is SC DELTA CON SRL Dorohoi. A company owned by Abătăcesei Petru, who sponsored the Liberal Democratic Party with the sum of 20,000 lei in the campaign for the parliamentary elections.
Delta Con cashed in on November 11, 2009, from CNI, a contract worth 3.167.652,5 lei to build a gym and a handball playing ground in the village of Leorda, Botoşani county.
Another company is the SC ROMBET SA Bacău, owned by businessman Costică Rusu, a close collaborator of the Democratic Liberal Party which cashed in from the CNI the value of a contract worth around 5 billion lei to build a swimming pool in the locality of Slănic Moldova, Bacău county.
The third company is MBS GROUP Cluj-Napoca, owned by Gabriel Silagy, local counselor of PDL Turda. He signed a contract worth approximately 12 million lei for the elaboration of the technical and economic documentation and construction of Swimming Sports Complex in Otopeni.
SC SCORILLO INTERCOM SRL Braşov, is a company controlled by businessman Cornel Chiţu. He cashed in the value of two contracts awarded by the National Investments Company. The first one, worth 3 million lei, was awarded for the construction of a gym and a handball playing ground with 150 seats in Întorsura Buzăului. The second contract was valued at 14.525 lei and it included technical consultancy for the design of a Polo swimming pool in Cluj Napoca.
Other companies:
- SC TERMOGAZ COMPANY SA Haţeg. The holder of the company is Adrian Gârdean, involved in the “Telegondola” scandal. The contract value is over 7 billion lei.
- SC IMI SA Mocina is controlled by business Alexandru Porjol. The contract value id over 6 million lei.
- SC STRACO GRUP SRL Bucharest. The company belonging to brothers Alexandru and Traian Horpoş, influenced by the highway constructors of PDL. The contracts value amounts to over 13 million lei.
- SC ECO STRADE SRL Bucharest. The company is controlled by Ştefania Cucu and Adrian Cobzaru. The contracts value amounts to over 3 million lei.
- SC GRUP 4 INSTALAŢII SA Cluj Napoca, belonging to businessman Gicu Gâscă. He was indicted by DIICOT for manipulation in 2007of the RASDAQ Stock exchange.
- SC EURO CONSTRUCT INTERNATIONAL SRL. Business holders are Georgeta Elisabeta Manea and Florian Codin and the company is headquartered in the building of the National Liberal Democratic Party’s Permanent Bureau, in Walter Mărăcineanu Square near Park Cişmigiu.
- SC MOLDOCOR SA Piatra Neamţ. The owner of the company which financed PDL during Basescu's presidential campaign is Mihai Bătrânu, known by the local press as the close friend of Piatra Neamt mayor, Gheorghe Ştefan, aka "Pinalti".
- SC GENERAL CONCRETE SRL Cernavodă, has been awarded contracts worth 26 million euros.
- SC DAFORA SA, owned by Marcel Adrian Piteiu, Head of Natural Gas Company and Vice President of PDL Romgaz SA Medias. It has contracts over 6 million lei.
