Mihai Gâdea presented on the "Daily Summary", the drama of the writer Stela Covaci, who has been evicted from her own home today, despite being aged 80. Today, the heroine of the Romanian resistance against communism, was evicted from her home in Theodor Aman Street.
Stela Covaci was part of the „ Labiş Group” of students preparing a revolution similar to that of 1956 in Hungary. She was however arrested and sentenced to 4 years imprisonment (of which she served only two) for "the crime of machination against the social order"
Released in 1960, she had not been rehabilitated until today, thus being prevented from completing her studies, like her husband, the great translator Aurel Covaci.
