Dan Şova: „The possibility that Traian Băsescu should not have known about the activities of the Bercea clan is excluded”

The Bercea Clan was presented repeatedly in the CSAT meetings, as a vulnerability, says former Minister of Transport, Dan Sova.

It is therefore impossible for the president not to have known the many crimes committed by the Bercea clan and its links, Sova said.

Since 2009, CSAT has adopted a special resolution on the fight against organized crime, as confirmed even by the president.

"The possibility that Traian Basescu should not have known about the Bercea clan’s activities is excluded. First, because the activity of these clans are the subject of CSAT debates, " Dan Sova said at the" Meeting Point ".

"When you talk of national security vulnerabilities a criminal clan is causing you must inform all CSAT members about their work," the former minister added.
