Dan Voiculescu, as a result of the publication in the press of shocking cases of rape sends out a warning. The founding president of the Conservative Party doubts the moral value of the projects in which rapists give their consent for chemical castration.
"From what you can understand from TV, things have gotten out of control. I am wondering whenever is the Romanian society going to get back to normal. I see a bill, a much talked about bill, whereby they want to chemically castrate rapists. An the measure is to be imposed with the consent of rapists . Are you sane?" Dan Voiculescu wroye on his personal blog.
Moreover, Voiculescu recalls that abuse and rape offenses could be deterred if the penalties for such acts would be more severe, as he asked the other day. The bill on chemical castration could be discussed by the Chamber of Deputies, after having passed by the Senate.
