Italian police arrested eight Romanian citizens and an Italian, all suspected of having committed several thefts from shops and houses.
The eight Romanians and the Italian are accused of committing dozens of burglaries in shops and houses in the province of Alessandria (Piedmont, northern Italy), during 2013, informs ProvinciaPavese.it , quoted by Mediafax.
The value of the stolen items is estimated at 300,000 euros.
The nine men were placed in custody for theft. Investigators determined that the stolen goods were sold outside Italy.
