The basic salary of the FSA president, Dan Radu Ruşanu was, in 2013, 14,000 per month, not counting bonuses and benefits.

Dana Grecu presented in the Tuesday edition of the show "On Today’s Agenda" the incomes of the Financial Surveillance Authority for the months of November and December 2013.

Ruşanu is the best paid employee in the Authority. Over 72.000 Euros entered the pockets of the Authority’s director in just two months.

The next on the line is the deputy of the institution, Daniel Daianu with an overall income of 68.043 Euros for November and December 2013.

The ASF employees count husbands, wives, ex-wives and children of important politicians. Remus Câmpeanu, the son of Mariana Câmpeanu cashed in for the last two months of 2013, 10.000 de Euros. The same amount was received by Gabriel Oprea’s daughter, Ana Maria Tudor

As expected, Romania is champion in terms of ASF salary employees across the European Union.

The average net salary in the FSA amounts to 13.600, that is 37 average monthly salaries.

In the Czech Republic, the chief supervisors cash in the equivalent of 15 average salaries.

"The Italian FSA" pays around 30.000 euro/month. Compared to the average salary per economy, that means 16 average salaries.

The salaries of the members of the Financial Surveillance Authority could be reduced by 50% this year, compared to the level of 2013, the president of the institution, Dan Radu Ruşanu stated.

USD, made up from the PSD, UNPR and PC, proposes the initiation of a parliamentary investigation regading the activity of the Financial Surveillance Authority and the salary level of the institution’s employees.
