Laszlo Tokes, Hungarian secret service agent was a country traitor, not a spy, and he did not do volunteer work but instead got well paid for what he did.
The revelations about Tokes were made by Filip Teodorescu, counterintelligence officer on the Monday edition of the Daily Summary show on Antena 3.
He was not performing voluntary work, he was paid. (...) He was in the position of a country traitors, not a spy (Laszlo Tokes – editor’s note) because spies are foreigners," said Monday on Antena 3, Filip Teodorescu, deputy Chief of the Counterintelligence Directorate of the State Security Department.
The former counterintelligence officer also added that Laszlo Tokes was a pastor, like all in his family, and this would have been one of the criterion on which he was chosen as the Hungarian secret service agent.
Filip Teodorescu also added that Ceauşescu was informed about this.
Among other country traitors, Filip Teodorescu also mentioned Mircea Răceanu.

Treason means a Romanian citizens who performs services for a foreign power ", Filip Teodorescu, former head of Counterintelligence said about agent Tokes.
