UPDATE 19:35 - Adriean Videanu did not make any statements coming out from the DNA premises. Videanu was taken out handcuffed from DNA headquarters Thursday evening, to be taken in the custody of the Bucharest Police after he was arrested by the anti-corruption prosecutors in the former case of the Head of DIOCT Alina Bica.

UPDATE 19:10 - Adriean Videanu was detained by the DNA prosecutors for 24 hours. Videanu's lawyer stated exiting the DNA: "We are in a situation where DNA has issued an order for 24 hours for the possible offense of complicity to office abuse for Videanu."

Antena 3 reporter for legal matter, Ana Maria Roman, explained that it had to do with a disjunction in Alina Bica’s case.

"We're talking about a publicized case by Antena 3 too, a disjunction of Alina Bica’s case file, the Romgaz file. In this case, Videanu’s property was seized. In February, after Alina Bica took over the DIOCT, the seizure was lifted from TitanMar, without any explanation. For several months, the company has remained uncovered. We do not know what happened in that time. In September, DNA prosecutors began to inquire the DIOCT about it. Also in September, after our requests, the Prosecutor General reported that they had annulled the lifting of seizure and the seizure was restored. "

"We are talking about a case where the damage amounted to several hundred million. It is an old file if I am not mistaken in the same case, the prosecution of Vosganian was ordered. There is an assumption that Videanu would have resort to Alina Bica to issue that order, " Ana Roman said.

Seizure over his actions was put in the folder where Videanu is investigated by DIOCT, along with others, for having incurred a loss of 11 million dollars and endangering national energy system gas segment.

President Bucharest PDL, Adriean Videanu came Thursday at the National Anticorruption Directorate, being summoned to be heard, given that his name had been mentioned by the former Minister Gabriel Sandu in statements for the Microsoft file.

Videanu a got to the DNA just as Elena Udrea was leaving from the "marathon" hearing which lasted four hours .
