"He was a very happy young man full of life and who loved studying so much ... He came to Romania, to the medical school there because our grandmother went there too," Alexandra said.
"He wanted to change the world and he thought that being a medical doctor he could do that, he wanted to help people," the young woman said about her brother.
"I want everyone to know that he was and he still is amazing and he would not want us to cry and be upset, he would want to smile and remember how happy he was," the young woman added during her intervention on the Daily Summary.
Andrei Anghel, the Romanian onboard the airliner that crashed in Ukraine, was a student at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj.
The young man lived his childhood in Canada and had come into his native country to study in the medical school.
