President Klaus Iohannis spoke Wednesday before the Moldova State University students, about the cooperation between the two countries, which proves how important it is to have a "good lawyer" on the European path, showing that "Moldova has a great chance, and that chance is called Romania "Mediafax reports.

The president affirmed in his speech that compared to his previous visit to Chisinau , the second time he arrived in his capacity President of Romania, therefore " his emotions are stronger."

"My presence in front of you is not just a cause for celebration but also an opportunity to talk about things that we feel the same: about our shared values and the challenges of our times, but also about opportunities that this area on the European continent and the current time provide to us. I want to refer to two fundamental values that govern our relationship: solidarity and identity. And I summarize these two concepts interrelated in our case, the European project undertaken by Moldova in relation to Romania, " the president said.

According to Iohannis, the cooperation between the two countries proves how important it is to have a "good lawyer" ‘s support in the process.

"Moldova has got a great chance that we did not have at the time of accession. This chance is called Romania, a full member of the European Union, today's most powerful supporter of Moldova’s integration process," Iohannis said.

Klaus Iohannis has conveyed to the students of Moldova State University that he was a teacher by profession and knew that the role of a teacher was not only to share knowledge but he had a much harder mission instead , which was to transmit values and build characters.

The Romanian President wanted to convey the "greetings of the Romanian citizens who, by the decisions taken in recent years showed that they fully supported the European path of Moldova".
