The Romanian President chastised Victor Ponta again on account of his trouble with the Law.
Klaus Iohannis said he would not join the debates over the censure motion introduced by the Liberals but he added that it would be better for the head of the Cabinet to be dismissed because Romania is the only EU country whose Prime Minister is facing criminal charges in Court.
"I play no role in this censure motion and in the way parties are negotiating over it. But, naturally, it would be a good outcome for the motion to pass. Not because I would be keen on emphasising my public support for a Liberal motion, but because such a motion would solve a very big problem of Romania, that of having a Prime Minister facing criminal charges in Court. There's no country like ours, negatively speaking, with such a Prime Minister", said Klaus Iohannis.
