Klaus Iohannis urges Romanians to ride their bikes more often in order to be healthy and for the sake of the city.

Inspired, perhaps, by the nice weather outside, the president posted on Facebook a photo with him riding a bike. Iohannis advocates in his message for improving the quality of life by exercising. "Riding a bike, either every Sunday in the park or every morning to work, keep us healthy, and helps reduce road traffic and pollution," the president said.

This is not for the first time Iohannis has advocated in favor of bike riding. In his elections campaign as well, he attended an event promoting it.
'' Life in the big cities is often noisy and bustling, and improving the quality of life should be a medium to long term objective. Cycling on Sundays in the park or every morning to work keep us healthy, and helps reduce road traffic and pollution. I am with cyclists and urge more people to ride a bike, '' Iohannis wrote on Facebook.

Several bikers rallies took place this weekend in Bucharest in Sibiu, Pantelimon and Brănești.
