A renowned orthopedic surgeon from the County Hospital in Braşov was caught in the act taking a 900 lei bribe to operate on a patient.
The doctor took the money from an undercover investigator. The surgeon was arrested and will be taken before a judge who will decide if the accussed is to remain in custody during the trial or not.
The doctor will be joined by the anaesthetist who assisted him. The latter pocketted two hundred lei for doing his job.
