President Klaus Iohannis posted a message on Facebook, expressing his solidarity with the families of the victims of the plane crash that has occurred in France.
"I was deeply saddened by the plane crash that took place today in Southern France. I express my solidarity with the families of the victims in the accident," reads the message President Klaus Iohannis posted on his social page.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta also posted on Twitter, messages in Spanish, German and French, expressing his shock at the news of the accident in France involving the Germanwings company and that his thoughts are with the families and relatives of the victims.
A passengers aircraft belonging to the low-cost company Germanwings, crashed in the South of France (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), the Digne-Barcelonnette region, near Grenoble.
The aircraft, an Airbus A320, was carrying 144 passengers and six crew members (two pilots and four flight attendants) and performed a regular flight between Barcelona and Düsseldorf.
