President Klaus Iohannis said Sunday night during the dialogue he had with the demonstrators in the University Square, that , at this time he was not very much inclined towards the solution of early elections, as it would not solve the problem, Mediafax reports.
"Mr. President, would you opt for early elections? We do not want early elections, because the same parties will get into the parliament " a man from the rally told Iohannis in the University Square.
The President replied that he would not opt for early legislative elections. "I do not incline towards early elections much as this would not solve the problem," said Iohannis, his response was followed by chants of the demonstrators. "We want justice, not early elections!" the people said.
The solution of early elections was supported by PNL and discussed in the consultations with the parliamentary parties, which took place Thursday and Friday.
"My conclusion is that most political leaders are willing to talk about early elections, are willing to discuss a technocrat government. Almost no one is willing to discuss a political government. It is a novelty. Therefore no party has come up with a name for prime minister, "said Iohannis Friday, at the end of two days of consultations.
