The minister’s announcement comes after Rovana Plumb announced Monday that 234,000 retirees will receive higher pensions on average by 63 lei until the end of March, after applying the correction and supplementation index scores for persons who retired after January 1, 2011.
The recalculation of 200,000 pensions was decided by the government in December 18, 2013, by emergency ordinance, adopted by the Constitutional Court (CC) relating tothe pensions of 2011 - January 2013.
