We address you in the way that we have always done .
We are employees here. Some for a few months, others for years, some of us have celebrated 2 decades on the job. Some of us are just starting out and we have not known you, some of us know you as a politician and the founder of the group. Some of us know the man you are.
WE all have our seven years of good education and many of us have added another “7 years of Intact”. This says a lot about what you have created.
All of us have witnessed these crazy years. When we wanted to be active wittnesses, you told us it was your war and that we were journalists. We have respected your point of view!
We know that this fabricated file could have been dismissed at any time, if you had signed a "pact with the devil". It would have meant that you give up your dignity and honor. You did not to it. And for that we respect you.
Wherever we were attacked just because we work here, you defended us . Many times we did not even know about it. Because defended also means that what happened in the years of crisis when TV stations closed one after another, and we continued to stand and we could do our jobs in honesty. We were able to continue our normal lives. "Normal" in Romania today is a privilege that few have enjoyed. We did .
It seems hard to believe, but we have smiled a lot in recent years. At every 6 o’clock attack we laughed it off and went on. We laughed even when someone in full delirium, told us "you dirty bags!." We were laughing because we knew very well who discharged the garbage. We laughed also when we were asked if we went to get our salaries with a photocopy of the ballots cast. We laughed all the crap off, because the company that you founded allowed us to laugh!
It might be that our laughter could also cost you . If "we had given in" , perhaps we could have enjoyed a quiet summer. Some people will never believe it, but there were revelations you found about from TV, as any man in this country. We have not given in, because this is how we grew up in this company.
The times of laughter are gone! You will not like what we are going to say, but someone has to say it ! The crazy atmosphere over the past few days is our war too! This is how we grew up in the company that you founded. We are journalists, but also citizens in this country. We take note, but we also think and understand. We observe the laws and recognize the abuse. The abuse being committed today against Dan Voiculescu. Yesterday it was against Mrs. Mary from Rădăuți. Tomorrow it may be against any Romanian. And the abuse cannot be ignored, cannot be forgotten, it cannot be forgiven!
