A Facebook posting of the US Embassy in Romania displays the grim reality of the Romanian medical system. Sandy Higgins, an engineer in the military base at Deveselu, suffered from pneumonia and after she went to several hospitals and not finding any place available, she came to be treated in a doctor's house.
