Our country has so far attracted over eight billions euros of EU funds, said on Thursday the EU Funds Minister Eugen Teodorivici on Antenna 3.
"In Romania today we have attracted over 8 billion euros with all the pre financing and reimbursements. Six billions and something, we asked the Commission to have it reimbursed to us based on invoices while the difference of up to 8 billion euros and some are advances which the Commission has already transferred to country", the Minister of EU Funds, Eugen Teodorivici said on the “Today’s Agenda” show, on Antena 3.
The minister said that at this moment, Romania's contribution to the EU budget does not exceed the funds attracted, therefore we are not a net contributor to the EU budget.
