The sister in law of Traian Băsescu, Doiniţa Băsescu, has been for year the cover up for the business deals of Mircea Băsescu in the harbor Constanţa Sud Agigea, the National Journal reports.
She became a City Hall counselor in 2004 from the PD Constanta , she held stakes in three companies that carry out storage in the harbor, journalists write.
The largest business deal that spouses Doiniţa and Mircea Basescu were involved in took place in 2009 when almost 1,800 tons of expired weapons originating from Taiwan were stored at Constance.
