A woman will be able to smile again after more than ten years, after delicate surgery performed by Romanian doctors.
Cerebral palsy left her with permanent facial paralysis but she will now learn to laugh and speak again. Doctors will transplant part of a thigh muscle to her face and attach it to nerves and blood vessels.
Scars will barely be noticeable and she will retain full use of her leg.
