Every year we celebrate on December 1st our country and ourselves, the Romanians born here from Romanian parents and grandparents.
But there are among us, people who feel Romanian although they were not born here or have other origins. We refer to the ethnics: Germans, Armenians, Polish, Hebrew, Turkish, Ukrainian, Greek, and the list goes on.
They have been living with us for centuries. They have been there for us in difficult moments and we have celebrated together. Many of them danced along us the Union dance on every December 1st.
This year, we, the Antenna 3 have proposed to celebrate them, the ethnic, because they too are part of this country and this is their celebration as well.
Throughout the day we will present the history of ethnic groups living in Romania, on Romanian territories, we will present their traditions and how they contributed to the cultural, social and economic development of our country.
If you have friends who are ethnic you can wish them "Happy Anniversary", because today is their day too !
