Today it is one year since the accident in Montenegro, when a Romanian bus fell into a precipice and 19 passengers died.
Antena 3 broadcasts images from the commemoration of the accident’s now marked by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and a trinity.
"It was a disaster from which we have learned a lot. We have discovered human solidarity, we have discovered this Montenegrin people who jumped to the rescue and helped those in need. Romanians have discovered what great people this small nation is " journalist Adrian Ursu said.
"One of the main goals was to mark a year since the tragedy. Again we convey the Romanians gratitude to the Montenegrins who went down into the precipice and to the authorities involved. Those moments of incredible solidarity touched all of us" foreign minister Titus Corlăţean said.
"It was a successful action of the Romanian state. Doctors, nurses, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there was an exemplary action here in terms of an integrated approach. Special thanks to the rescuers here" Raed Arafat said, who personally coordinated the rescue action in 2013.
