The Panama offshore shareholders would have sold an apartment in a residential complex in Bucharest, to former Prime Minister Victor Ponta. The Off-shore was set up before 1989 by a group of Greeks and the their business operations focused on real estate. The Romanian company, behind which the Panamanian company was found is now bankrupt, digi24.ro.reports.

Sthemko Holding Company INC was registered in Panama on March 30, 1989 by a group of Greeks. The Capital of the company amounted to $ 10,000. On 22 June 2006, the off-shore sets up in Romania the G & F Real Estate and Constructions SRL Bucharest, with a capital of 1,000 lei. The company’s activity is the real estate business with own goods.


 

The company G & F Real Estate and Constructions SRL Bucharest bought 16 apartments in Central Park and 13 apartments in Rose Garden after taking bank loans. In March 2011, all shares are disposed to Georgios Chatzagiannis, President of the Panama offshore site.

In 2012, two months before being nominated prime minister, Victor Ponta acquired from the same developer an apartment in the Central Park compound . Today, the former prime minister would not answer journalists' questions on the topic.

His wife, Daciana Sarbu, and father, Ilie Sarbu, already had two apartments there purchased directly from the developer - the company Central Residential Park SA. In 2007, Daciana Sarbu paid 766 000 lei for a house of 167 square meters.
