Romanians are entitled to free-of-charge medical analyses and investigations several times a year. In reality, however, such investigations cost a lot of money. It is the case in most private clinics under contract with the National Health Insurance House. For a free-of-charge MRI or a CAT scan, Romanians must wait as long as four months to get it. There is an alternative, though. For a "promotional" price, one can top the long waiting list and get examined overnight.
