Prime Minister Victor Ponta stated  Tuesday at the end of the meeting held at the Presidential Palace that he discussed with president Traian Băsescu and his advisers about all the messages the representatives of the Romanian state will have  in the extremely important meetings and about the means to  enforce the sanction EU requested.

Victor Ponta  announced that after his discussion with  Traian Băsescu, that he reiterated the request to convene a CSAT meeting and the head of state said he would provide an answer to that effect.

The Prime Minister also said that Romania ‘position  on the politics in the region will be a clear and unitary one, in the sense that  EU and USA sanctions will be firmly enforced on all the persons declared undesirable.
