Oana Stancu presented Friday during the show "Power abuse" how a criminal complaint against Traian Basescu was turned into " miscellaneous papers " by a prosecutor, who now serves as the chief prosecutor of the Department for criminal investigation and forensics.
It is the complaint filed with the General Prosecution in 2014 by Viorel Popescu, a man who won in court the right to use his garage as he liked which he got upon purchasing a house, but which Traian Basescu, at the time mayor of Bucharest , gave it to the singer Gheorghe Gheorghiu to use.

According to the documents presented by "Power abuse", in 2002, Traian Băsescu granted to Gheorghe Gheorghiu the right to use the garage in the yard of Viorel Popescu. In 2003, Viorel Popescu won in court the lawsuits disputing the use right of the garage.

It is only in 2005, that Viorel Popescu received from the Town Hall a paper whereby his capacity of owner of the garage is acknowledged.

In 2014, Viorel Popescu addressed a criminal complaint with the Prosecution charging Traian Băsescu of trespassing , abuse of power and corruption, attaching all documents on file.
The case was rejected by the Prosecutor Camelia Sutiman, now chief prosecutor of the Department of Criminal Investigation and Forensics, because the victim had not written its PIN on the complaint.
Oana Stacu presented several examples how various anonymous complaints were disregarded by prosecutors.
